Before the “Abrasive Minister Prize 2023” was handed over, there was a constructive conversation in which the minister addressed our (JoG) demands. Among other things, the topics of #right to remain and more generous #hardship regulations were discussed.
In addition, von JoG pointed out the importance of #child welfare priority, the importance of learning without fear of #deportations and the need for #country reception programs for Syrians and Afghans. They also criticized the #deportation center at BER and the #collective deportations, #airport asylum procedures and expansion of exit detention planned there.
