The project is aimed at:

  • asylum seekers,
  • Asylum seekers* who are still in the asylum procedure,
  • rejected asylum seekers who wish to appeal against the BAMF rejection notice or are already in the process of doing so,
  • persons entitled to subsidiary protection who wish to appeal against the BAMF's partial refusal decision or who are already in the process of doing so
The consulting includes:

  • information on the asylum procedure and, if necessary, alternatives to the asylum procedure,
  • explanation of the substantive conditions of each protection title in the asylum procedure,
  • explanation of special procedural guarantees for particularly vulnerable persons (under Directive 2013/32/EU (Asylum Procedures Directive),
  • preparation and follow-up of the asylum interview,
  • explanation of the content and the positive/negative legal consequences of the BAMF decision,
  • explanation of possible appeals against (partial) refusal,
  • support in lodging appeals (legal action and § 80V application, if necessary consideration of management reports and court decisions).
The social law consulting includes:

  • advice on the distribution system in the asylum procedure, if necessary, support in transnational redistribution policies to create family unity,
  • support in applying for benefits under the AsylbLG,
  • mediation to doctors and psychologists if medical care is needed,
  • Advice on access to language courses (explanation of language course systems, offers for different target groups) and educational offers.
