End family separations! About the blockade of family reunification for refugees from Eritrea: information event online on May 11, 2021, 18:30-20:30 p.m

Refugees from Eritrea want protest in Berlin on May 15 for the implementation of their right to family reunification. In practice, this is denied to them by excessive bureaucracy and sometimes unfulfillable requirements by the Federal Foreign Office and the German diplomatic missions: Families often have to wait years for both an appointment at the embassy to submit an application and a decision on the application they have submitted - with an uncertain outcome, because documents are required to prove identity and family ties, which the families cannot obtain or can only obtain under unreasonable conditions. And all this while the family members in the neighboring countries of Eritrea have to endure in sometimes life-threatening conditions.
